Go to Hell with this first Dante’s Inferno Gameplay Video
dante’s Inferno is pretty much a no-brainer for me at this point. The material that it’s based on is sound for the structure of a video game, with the circles of hell of varying “hellish” varieties providing different levels of difficulty for the game itself. What I’m worried about, and what this newly eleased first footage of the game shows, is the amount of repetition in location that the game will offer. Take a look and you’ll see what i mean.
You can tell, if you’ve played any other stylish action games (like God of War, for example) that Dante’s Inferno treads the beaten path of glowing collectable orbs, big enemies and grotesque finishing moves which are, well, truly awesome, and that all looks great. However. It’s the locations, the environments, the mise-en-scene, if you will, of the game that looks a little dry. Will we ever see any green? What about blue? Will we ever not be in hell?
I think there’s probably more to this game than has been so far revieled, and I’m looking forward to EA dishing the dirt to us in the near future! Sign up to us to make sure you’re getting all the latest info and community rumour here!
Thanks, and go to hell.
