Comic Con: The Darkness 2 Confirmed
In my opinion, one of the best virtual relationships in any video game is that of Jackie Estacado and Jenny, the protagonist his girlfriend in Starbreeze’s 2007 horror/ shooter game The Darkness.
Therefore, I’m rather happy that this Comic Conference has confirmed the existance of a sequel to that very game. There were actually a few low murmurs about this game back at comic con last year in 2008, but it’s obviously taken a yeartfor Starbreeze to build up the courage to announce it good and proper.
The main thing that I think I’d like to see from a sequel to The Darkness, would be for the developers to completely get rid of multiplayer altogether, which was the weakest part, no doubt, of the first game, and concentrate on telling a brilliant story and making a fun to play horror action game. That’s the key thing, right?
